Basal cell carcinoma is generally very slow-growing and rarely spreads to other organs, so it's very rarely fatal. If you have to get a small excision done, just follow your doctor's advice on resting, and you can resume light walks once it heals.

Nahi beta, isse maut nahi hoti hai. It is just a small skin patch that the doctor can easily remove. Don't worry too much, just show it to a good skin doctor in the city and everything will be fine.

I had a basal cell spot removed at a reputed hospital last year. My dermatologist clearly explained that it almost never spreads to other parts of the body, so the risk of dying is extremely low. Just ask your doctor all your questions clearly to ease your mind.

While it is rarely fatal, if you ignore it for years, it can grow deep into local tissues and cause severe complications. I delayed my treatment and ended up needing a much bigger surgery on my face. Please get it treated early by a dermatologist.

I have this small, pearly bump on my nose that won't go away, and I am getting so anxious that it might be this. Has anyone else had a similar bump and had it successfully removed without any major issues?

No need to panic at all! Basal cell is super treatable and has an amazing cure rate. Just wear your sunscreen and get it removed by a doctor, you will be absolutely fine.
