Can you contract hepatitis b after vaccination?

I got vaccinated for Hepatitis B a few years ago, but recently my friend got diagnosed. Now I'm a bit worried. Is it still possible to contract Hepatitis B even after completing the full vaccination course?

I was actually reading about this yesterday! Apparently, no vaccine is 100% effective, but the Hep B vaccine is super strong, like 95% protective. So while it is technically possible in rare cases if your body didn't build enough antibodies, it's very unlikely.

Babu, tika lagane ke baad bimaari hone ka khatra bahut kam ho jata hai. Par fir bhi thoda savdhan rehna chahiye. Agar mann mein koi shanka ho, toh bade doctor se milkar khoon ki jaanch karwa lo, sab theek ho jayega.

As a mother, I had the same worry for my son. Our pediatrician told us that after completing the full schedule, the protection is excellent. But if there is a high-risk exposure, they sometimes do a quick blood test to check the antibody levels just to be safe.

Actually yaar, it's very rare. Once you complete all three doses, you are pretty much sorted for life. But if someone has a weak immune system, then maybe the protection level drops. Best is to get an antibody titer test done to be absolutely sure.

The vaccine works wonders, but keeping your overall immune system strong with a solid protein diet and regular workouts is also key. Don't stress too much about contracting it if you're fully vaccinated; just maintain a healthy, active lifestyle.

With my thyroid, I'm always cautious about immune responses. While the vaccine is highly effective, it's always smart to consult your doctor. They can run a simple HBsAb blood test to verify if your immunity is active or if you need a booster shot.
