Can you be a surrogate if you've had gestational diabetes?

I had gestational diabetes during my first pregnancy a few years ago. Now, a close relative is struggling with infertility and I'm thinking of offering to be a surrogate for them. Will my history with gestational diabetes prevent me from doing this?

Maine suna hai ki surrogacy ke liye doctor sab kuch check karte hain pehle. Agar pehle diabetes hui thi toh shyaad thoda dhyan rakhna padta hai. Aap ek baar badhiya doctor se milo, woh sab acche se samjha denge chinta mat karo.

I just went through gestational diabetes in my last pregnancy and actually asked my doc about surrogacy later. She told me most clinics don't prefer it because the risk of getting it again is quite high. You should get your HbA1c checked first and show a specialist.

Most surrogacy clinics usually reject applications if you have a history of gestational diabetes. It's better to check their guidelines directly.

My elder sister was talking about this last week, and she said agencies look at full medical history very strictly. Honestly, it's best to consult a fertility specialist directly. Only a doctor can evaluate if your past gestational diabetes poses any risk now.

Managing diabetes during pregnancy is no joke, especially when you have to cut down on all the sweet cravings and delicious street food. From what I know, surrogacy clinics prefer a history of very smooth pregnancies. Giving up those parathas and sweets is hard enough, so better ask a doc if it's even allowed.

Haan, surrogacy rules bahut strict hote hain aajkal India mein. Gestational diabetes ka matlab hai thoda risk toh rehta hi hai na next pregnancy mein bhi. Aap kisi acche IVF center mein jaakar hi clear karo toh better rahega.

Staying calm and keeping your body healthy with gentle pranayama is very important. Regarding surrogacy, gestational diabetes affects the womb environment, so doctors are very cautious. Please consult a trusted gynaecologist before making any decision.
