Can you be a police officer with diabetes?

I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes recently. My lifelong dream has been to join the police force. Does having diabetes mean I cannot become a police officer?

Arey, with police duty hours being so erratic, managing diabetes on the job is a challenge in itself! If you are on insulin, the medical board usually rejects candidates because of hypoglycemia risks during long shifts. But if it's just mild Type 2 managed with basic pills, they might let you through.

Haha, imagine chasing a thief and having to stop for a sugar juice break! The recruitment board thinks about all this, which is why they are so strict. Keep your HbA1c in check and hope for the best during the medical round!

Haan, bilkul check toh hota hai dhang se. Agar aapka sugar control mein hai aur fitness test clear kar lete ho, toh thoda chance ban sakta hai, na? Bas apne reports bilkul up-to-date rakhna jab medical ke liye jao.

Oh dear, I would be so stressed out about the intense physical training causing a sudden sugar crash. Please make sure you get a thorough checkup from a specialist before the official tests so you know exactly where your health stands. Wishing you all the best!

In our times, physical fitness was the only criteria, but now they check blood reports very deeply. Try to keep your diet simple with bajra and methi water, which helps regulate sugar naturally. But please follow whatever instructions the official police medical board gives you.
