Can weed give you a heart attack?

My uncle recently suffered a heart attack, and it's made me very health-conscious. I used to occasionally smoke weed. Can weed give you a heart attack, or is it not directly linked?

Yes, weed can increase your heart rate and raise blood pressure right after use. This sudden cardiac strain can potentially trigger a heart attack, especially if there's an underlying blockage. If you ever feel sudden chest pain or shortness of breath, go to an emergency room immediately.

I was reading some articles about how weed affects cardiovascular health and it's quite alarming. It seems the sudden spike in heart rate can be dangerous for some people. It's definitely something to research carefully and talk to a cardiologist about.

Managing my thyroid has taught me how sensitive the heart is to hormonal and chemical changes. Since weed causes rapid heart rate fluctuations, it is a risk you shouldn't take lightly. Make sure to get regular cardiac checkups and follow up with your doctor.

Hey there! Yes, weed can put extra stress on your heart, so it's always best to be cautious. Take care of your health, eat well, and do consult a doctor if you feel any chest discomfort or rapid pounding.

I had a massive panic attack once after smoking, with my heart racing like crazy, and I was convinced I was having a heart attack. I rushed to the hospital, but my ECG was completely normal—it was just anxiety. But if you have actual chest pain, definitely get it checked to be safe.
