Can uti cause stomach pain after eating?

I have a UTI and noticed that my stomach pain gets worse right after I eat, almost like an indigestion. I'm not sure if this is a common symptom. Can a UTI cause stomach pain specifically after eating meals?

Man, between running to the bathroom and trying to digest food, my body has completely given up on sleeping. It's probably the antibiotic side effects causing that stomach ache after dinner. Better ask your doc for a PPI or antacid because this sleepless tossing and turning is no joke.

Before you spend 2000 rupees on fancy gastroenterologist consultations, just get a basic urine routine and culture test done for 300 bucks. Often, antibiotics for UTI cause acidity and stomach burning after food. Planning these basic tests first saves a lot of money.

Put your mind at ease, child. At my age, I have seen many such small health ups and downs. Urinary issues often cause temporary gastric tightness because all the lower organs are close by. Just eat simple khichdi for a few days, take your doctor's advice, and you will be absolutely fine.

I feel your pain, stomach discomfort after eating is so annoying. While you are taking the main medicine from your doctor, try drinking a glass of thin buttermilk with a pinch of roasted cumin powder after your meals. It cooling down the stomach heat and really helps with that post-food burning.

Don't freak out! I completely panicked when this happened to me last year, thinking it was some major kidney issue. It turned out to be just gastric irritation from the strong antibiotic tablets I was taking for the UTI. Once the medicine course finished, my stomach went back to normal.

A UTI itself might cause pelvic pressure, but stomach pain after meals is usually mild indigestion or medication side effects. If your doctor allows, try a slow 15-minute stroll after eating. It helps move the digestive system along and reduces that heavy bloating feeling.

Since I already manage hypothyroidism, my digestive system is always sensitive, and UTI antibiotics make it worse after meals. I highly recommend getting a proper follow-up with your physician and maybe a routine blood check. Don't skip doctor visits, keeping track is very important.

My grandmother always suggests drinking warm barley water to soothe the stomach and bladder during infections. It is very cooling, but of course, we must trust the doctor first. Please get a urine test done to find the exact cause of your pain.
