Can uti cause body pain?

I think I have a UTI again, and this time my whole body is feeling achy and tired. My friend told me sometimes UTIs can cause general body pain. Is it true that a simple urine infection can make your muscles and joints hurt so much?

Yes, it absolutely can. Any active bacterial infection like a UTI can trigger an immune response, making you feel weak and achy all over. Skip the self-diagnosis and get a doctor's prescription for antibiotics.

When you have a UTI, your body is fighting an infection, which causes general body aches and fatigue. Skip your gym sessions and heavy workouts for now; just stick to light walking if your doctor permits, and focus on recovery.

Yes, the immune response to a UTI can leave you with body pain. Along with the medications your doctor prescribes, try keeping your diet light, hydrating well with tender coconut water, and avoiding heavy, spicy food to help your body heal.

Beta, when the body fights an infection, it's very natural to feel tired and have body aches. I have seen this happen many times. Rest well, drink warm water, and make sure to show it to a doctor so you get the right medicine.

Dealing with PCOS has made me realize how connected our body systems are, and yes, a UTI can make your whole body feel fatigued and achy. Please consult a doctor for a proper diagnosis instead of just taking painkillers.
