Can uti cause bloating and stomach pain?

Since yesterday, I've had really bad bloating and some stomach pain, along with the usual UTI symptoms. I know UTIs can cause discomfort, but can they also lead to this much bloating? Just trying to figure out what's happening.

I used to drink buttermilk with a pinch of hing for bloating, but when it's accompanied by sharp lower stomach pain from a UTI, home remedies won't cure it. The infection inflames the bladder and makes you feel very bloated, so please see a doctor for proper treatment.

Yeah, actually my girlfriend had this exact issue last month. She was super bloated and had bad stomach pain, and we thought it was just gas, but it turned out to be a UTI. Better to get a quick urine test done.

Haan na, stomach poora bhara bhara lagta hai aur thoda painful bhi hota hai. It's because of the infection pressure in the bladder. Doctor ko dikha lo ek baar, simple urine test se pata chal jayega.

Bladder pressure from a UTI can easily feel like lower abdominal bloating and stomach pain due to pelvic muscle spasms. Drink plenty of fluids to flush the system and consult your doctor for a standard antibiotic course.

Oh god, I get so anxious when my stomach hurts and feels bloated, I start googling everything! But a UTI can definitely cause that uncomfortable heavy feeling down there. Please don't stress, just visit your doctor so you can get relief quickly.
