Can uterine fibroids cause back pain?

I was recently diagnosed with uterine fibroids, and now I've started experiencing dull lower back pain. I'm wondering if this pain is directly related to the fibroids, or if it's a separate issue I need to investigate with my doctor.

Yes, they absolutely can. Mine grew quite large and started pressing on the nerves in my lower back, which caused terrible pain and complications later. Please don't ignore this and get an ultrasound done soon under a good gynaecologist.

Honestly, don't waste time searching for home remedies on Google or YouTube for this. Back pain can happen due to ten different reasons, so it is best to get a proper scan. Only a doctor can tell you if it's actually the fibroids causing it.

Keep your mind calm and have faith, dear. The body has its own ways of showing us what needs attention, and back pain is often linked to these changes. Take rest, drink warm water, and let a good doctor guide your healing journey.

I panicked so much when my back started aching, thinking something was seriously wrong with my spine. But my gynac explained it's very common when fibroids are bulky. Once we started management, the pain got much better, so try not to stress.

Oh god, I always worry about this too because even I get bad backaches. I read that if they grow on the outer wall, they press against your spine. It is so scary to think about, but please take a deep breath and book an appointment with your doc just to be safe.

Please get it checked immediately. I ignored my back pain for almost a year thinking it was just work stress, but it turned out my fibroid had grown massive. I really regret not going to the clinic earlier, so don't repeat my mistake.
