Can urinary tract infections cause cancer?

My friend frequently gets UTIs, and she heard somewhere that recurrent infections might increase cancer risk. I'm worried for her and myself too. Can urinary tract infections really lead to cancer in the long run, or is that a misunderstanding?

Please don't worry, standard urinary infections do not turn into cancer. However, chronic untreated infections can irritate the bladder over many years. Drinking cranberry juice or clean warm water helps soothe the bladder, but do take a doctor's advice for the main treatment.

Bro, relax! A normal UTI does not cause cancer. It is just a basic bacterial infection that goes away with antibiotics. Don't let Google scare u with extreme stuff, it is very common and easily treatable.

No beta, a simple infection does not cause such big diseases. Do not let these fears trouble your mind. Take some light home remedies like barley water to cool the system, but ensure you finish the doctor's prescribed medicine.

Based on the medical articles I tracked on my health app, there is no direct link between occasional UTIs and cancer. UTIs are purely bacterial. Just log your symptoms, get a routine urine test, and consult a doctor to clear it up quickly.

I used to panic and think the worst every time I got a UTI too, but honestly, it has nothing to do with cancer. It is just a simple bacterial issue. Get a quick urine test done and a doctor will give you standard meds to fix it.

Whoa, hold on! Google is doing its classic trick of turning a simple sneeze into a terminal illness again. UTIs are just annoying bacteria throwing a party in your bladder, not cancer. Just get some antibiotics and kick them out!
