Can urinalysis detect kidney disease?

My uncle was recently diagnosed with kidney disease, and it got me thinking about my own health. I'm wondering if a simple urine test can actually detect kidney disease early on, or if more advanced tests are always needed for a proper diagnosis.

Yes, it is one of the first tests doctors order. Since I have high BP, my doctor makes me do a urine test every six months to check for protein leakage because high blood pressure can damage kidney filters over time.

It actually shows things like protein or blood in urine, which are early signs of stress on your kidneys. If you are taking high protein diets or lifting heavy, keeping an eye on your kidney health through routine urine and blood tests is super smart.

Who knew a tiny cup of pee could tell so much about our bodies! But yes, it's like a basic report card for your kidneys. If there's something fishy, the test catches the protein or blood leaks before things get serious.

Look, don't keep guessing at home. A simple urine test is very cheap and clearly tells if your kidneys are leaking protein or if there is any infection. Go get the test done tomorrow morning and show the report to a good doctor.

Yes, a basic urinalysis is highly effective and costs barely 150 to 200 rupees at any local lab. If the report shows microalbumin or high protein, you can catch kidney issues early on without spending a fortune on big scans.
