Can undiagnosed diabetes cause fever?

I've been feeling feverish on and off for a while, and my blood sugar levels have been a bit high lately according to some home tests. My mother-in-law said it could be linked to diabetes. Can an undiagnosed diabetes problem actually cause fever?

I was reading about this recently because my uncle has high sugar. Actually, diabetes itself doesn't directly cause a fever, but high sugar levels make your body weak, so you can catch urinary infections or other infections very easily. And those infections cause the fever.

Hi there! Fever usually means your body is fighting off some virus or bacteria 🦠 If you suspect diabetes, a quick fasting blood sugar test will clear all doubts. Don't worry, just get a simple checkup done soon!

When the body's sugar levels are high, the natural immunity goes down, making us prone to infections that bring on a fever. Along with your medical treatments, doing gentle pranayama like Anulom Vilom daily helps in keeping the mind and body calm, but please get your sugar tested first.

Bhai, agar bukhar aa raha hai toh use halka mat lo. Sugar badhne se sharir me kamzori aati hai aur jaldi infection pakad leta hai. Aap kisi acche doctor se milkar khoon ki jaanch karwa lijiye, sab theek ho jayega.

Actually yaar, diabetes directly fever nahi deta. Par high blood sugar ki wajah se immune system slow ho jata hai, toh normal cold ya UTI bhi badh jata hai aur fever aa jata hai. Just go get your HbA1c checked to be sure, don't ignore it.
