Can u sleep with contacts in?

Sometimes after a long day, I just crash on the bed without removing my contacts. My eyes feel a bit dry in the morning. Is it safe to sleep with contacts in, or should I always take them out?

No, it's definitely not a good idea! 🙅‍♀️ Sleeping with contacts can dry out your eyes and lead to nasty infections. Take those two extra minutes to remove them before sleeping for happy, healthy eyes! 😊

I completely understand the anxiety of realizing you fell asleep with lenses in. It can feel really scary, but take a deep breath. Use lubricating eye drops to loosen them before trying to take them out, and don't panic.

Replacing damaged lenses or paying for expensive eye drops and clinical visits for eye infections is a heavy cost. It's much cheaper and more practical to maintain basic hygiene and take them off daily.

Haan bhai, galti se bhi mat sona lenses laga kar. Aankhon ke mamle mein bilkul risk nahi lena chahiye, na. Sone se pehle hamesha lens box pass mein rakha karo taaki yaad rahe.

I just started wearing contacts last week and I'm always scared of forgetting to remove them. Are there any specific night-lenses that are safe for sleeping, or is it a strict no for all types?

Our eyes need to rest naturally at night to restore their moisture and energy. Keeping contact lenses on blocks this natural healing process. Make it a daily ritual to remove them, followed by some gentle eye exercises.

Never sleep with contacts in. It cuts off oxygen supply to your eyes and causes severe bacterial infections.

It is best to remove them and wash your eyes with clean, cool water to relax them at night. If you feel any mild irritation, a drop of pure rosewater can help soothe the eyes, but always consult a doctor if the irritation persists.

Honestly, even when I am half-dead with sleep at 3 AM, I force myself to pluck those lenses out. Sleeping with them feels like having sandpaper glued to your eyeballs the next morning. Just don't do it, save your eyes.

I developed a painful corneal ulcer after sleeping with my daily wear lenses. It was a scary experience and could have damaged my vision permanently. If you have any blurred vision or constant pain, please see an eye doctor immediately.

Beta, the eyes are God's most precious gift. Keeping artificial things on them while sleeping is not right. Wash your face with cold water before sleeping and let your eyes breathe naturally for a good night's rest.

I once slept after a late-night party with my contacts in, and the next day my eyes were completely stuck and dry. It was highly uncomfortable. Now I never skip removing them, no matter how tired I am.

Haan na, bilkul sahi baat hai, contacts pehan kar kabhi nahi sona chahiye. Aankhon mein infection hone ka darr rehta hai aur dry ho jaati hain. Saavdhan rehna hi sabse accha hai.

Unless you want to wake up looking like a character from a horror movie with blood-red eyes, please take them out! Your corneas need to breathe too, they don't want a 24/7 blanket over them.

I panicked like crazy the first time I accidentally slept with my contacts in for a few hours. My eyes were sticky, but after using some refreshing drops, they were fine. If it happens once by mistake, don't worry, just give your eyes a break the next day.
