Can u reverse fatty liver?

My recent medical report showed I have fatty liver. The doctor gave me some advice, but I'm worried. Can you actually reverse fatty liver, or is it a permanent condition once you have it?

Yes, early stage fatty liver is highly reversible. Since I have thyroid issues, my metabolism is slow, which can trigger fatty liver easily, so I have to get regular liver function tests done. Please keep consulting your doctor and check your levels every six months.

Haan na, fatty liver toh aajkal bohot common ho gaya hai humare khane-peene ki wajah se. But with simple home-cooked food and avoiding oily stuff, it can be easily reversed. Mere husband ka bhi normal ho gaya tha ek saal mein.

It is totally reversible without spending lakhs on fancy detox supplements. Just focus on a clean diet and get a basic ultrasound and LFT done from a budget-friendly lab to track your progress. That will cost you under 1500 Rs, which is very practical.

I literally just reversed my Grade 2 fatty liver last month! My doctor told me to lose 5% of my body weight, and as soon as I achieved that through diet and jogging, my liver enzymes went back to completely normal.

Completely agree with everyone here. Just cutting out sugar and junk food for three months makes a massive difference in reversing fatty liver.

With our busy corporate schedules, we end up ordering outside food constantly, which is the main culprit. What worked for me was packing simple home meals and taking a 15-minute walk after lunch. Small, consistent efforts will reverse it easily.

While it is reversible, please don't self-diagnose or try unverified diets. If Grade 1 progresses to Grade 2 or 3, it can cause serious scarring. Always get a proper consultation with a gastroenterologist to understand your specific grade and treatment.
