Can u reverse cavities?

I recently went to the dentist and found out I have a few small cavities. The doctor suggested fillings. I was wondering if there are any natural ways or remedies to reverse cavities, especially if they are small?

If it is just a minor white spot or initial enamel weakness, you can reverse it by brushing twice daily with a good fluoride toothpaste. But once a proper hole or black cavity is formed, no home remedy can fix it, you will have to get it filled by a dentist.

Please get it checked by a proper dentist before it reaches the nerve. People often try oil pulling or random home remedies, but if the decay has penetrated deep, it can cause severe pain and infection. Safety first, get a professional opinion.

My dentist clearly explained that 'reversing' only applies to demineralization of the enamel. He suggested using a toothpaste with high fluoride or hydroxyapatite and avoiding acidic drinks. Once the dentin is exposed, a physical filling is the only solution.

I panicked when I saw a tiny dark spot on my back tooth and thought I would need a painful root canal. But the dentist said it was just early decay and simple lifestyle changes stopped it completely. Don't worry, just start flossing and cut down on late-night sweet snacks.

Don't believe those viral videos claiming clove oil or turmeric can magically erase a deep cavity. That is completely impossible. Go to a dental clinic and let them clean the decay properly; otherwise, you will end up needing an expensive root canal later.
