Can u outgrow asthma?

I had asthma as a kid, but I haven't had any attacks in years now. My doctor once mentioned that some kids outgrow it. Is it possible to completely outgrow asthma as you get older?

Honestly, I had really bad asthma when I was a kid and always carried an inhaler. But by the time I hit college, the symptoms almost vanished. I still get slightly wheezy during heavy winters, but it is way better than before.

Actually yaar, my doctor told me that asthma never fully goes away, it just goes to sleep. I didn't have any attacks for like ten years and then suddenly Mumbai's pollution triggered it again last year. So just be a bit careful, especially in winter.

Some people do outgrow it, but for many, it just lies dormant and can trigger again due to pollution or stress. My tip is to always keep a rescue inhaler at home even if you haven't had an attack in years, and avoid sudden temperature changes.

As someone managing PCOS, I know how frustrating chronic conditions can be. Asthma can sometimes fade away, but it's best to stay cautious and not take health for granted. Keep a track of your triggers and take care of your overall immunity.

I used to panic every time I had a mild cough thinking my asthma was returning. But my doctor reassured me that childhood asthma often goes into a silent phase. Even if it doesn't fully disappear, it becomes extremely manageable as an adult.

I have dealt with asthma for over fifty years now. In my experience, the body's response changes with age, and many people do find immense relief as they grow older. Don't worry, with proper care and a calm mind, you can live a very full life.

A warm cup of ginger-tulsi tea helps a lot when you feel chest tightness. But remember, home remedies are only for mild comfort. If you have severe breathlessness, please rush to a hospital immediately as asthma can be highly unpredictable.

Haan na, childhood asthma can actually reduce as you grow up. Mere bhaanje ko bhi bachpan mein bohot takleef thi, but ab toh he is totally fine. Bas dust aur thandi cheezon se thoda door rehna chahiye.

I used to get breathless easily, but starting regular cardio and breathing exercises really strengthened my lungs. Focus on a clean diet and building stamina slowly, it might not cure asthma but it definitely makes your body highly resilient.

Even if you feel you have outgrown it, please don't stop your asthma plans without consulting. Sometimes airway inflammation continues silently without obvious wheezing. Get a proper lung function test done by a doctor before assuming it is gone.

While you might not completely 'outgrow' it biologically, you can definitely manage it to a point where it doesn't affect you. I use a peak flow meter and track my cardio health on my smartwatch, which has really helped me understand my lung capacity better.

It is so exhausting dealing with asthma, especially when you feel left out during physical activities. Many kids do see their symptoms reduce as they grow up, which is a huge relief. Just know that your struggles are valid and it can get better.

My son used to get frequent attacks when he was five, but now at twelve, he rarely needs the inhaler. The doctor said the airways naturally widen as they grow. Keep their room dust-free and stay hopeful, it often improves with age.

Haan beta, humare yahan bhi kayi bache bade hokar theek ho gaye hain. Bas dhool-mitti se bacha kar rakhein aur garm paani peene ki aadat dalein. Bhagwan ki kripa se sab theek ho jayega.

Outgrowing it completely depends on your luck and immunity, but you can surely reduce the attacks. Regular steam inhalation and keeping the house free of dampness works wonders. No need for expensive treatments if basic precautions are followed.
