Can u have the flu without fever?

Everyone around me seems to have the flu, with high fevers and body aches. I'm also feeling very tired and have a bad cough, but no fever. Can you have the flu without a fever at all?

Yes, totally! You can get all the fun symptoms like body aches, runny nose, and fatigue without actually running a temperature. Just get some cozy rest and warm soup!

Look, a fever is just one symptom. If your body is aching like you got run over by a truck and you are constantly sneezing, it is likely the flu. Stop waiting for the thermometer to hit 100, just rest and consult a doctor.

Yes, it is quite common, especially in older adults or people with specific immune responses. If you have a dry cough, extreme fatigue, and muscle aches, treat it like the flu. Keep yourself isolated so you don't pass it to others.

My grandmother always told us that a cold or flu can sometimes be silent without a fever. She would make us hot pepper rasam to clear the congestion. But if you feel very weak, it is always wise to consult your family doctor.

I totally get it, sometimes you feel absolutely miserable and exhausted, but because there is no fever, you feel like you are just imagining it. Trust your body. If you feel sick, take a break and rest.

Yes, you can have the flu without a fever. When I had it last year, my muscles were just super sore. I avoided heavy weight training and only did light stretching and short walks at home until my energy levels came back to normal.
