Can u get cancer from your phone?

I spend so much time on my phone, for work and personal use, and it's almost always near me. My mother keeps saying these phones give out radiation and can cause cancer. Is there any scientific basis to her concerns?

No, there is no scientific proof linking phone radiation to cancer. But keeping it away from your head while sleeping is a good habit for better rest.

Science says the non-ionizing radiation from phones isn't strong enough to damage DNA and cause cancer. However, doomscrolling late at night definitely ruins your sleep and recovery, which indirectly messes with your health. Put the phone away and get those 8 hours of sleep!

Do not let these internet fears disturb your mental peace. Phones do not cause cancer, but too much screen time does pull us away from nature and peace. Try to disconnect for an hour daily, spend time under the sun, and stay blessed.

I used to worry about this constantly when I was dealing with my own health scare last year. I read countless medical papers and spoke to my doctor; there is absolutely no evidence that mobile phones cause cancer. It was such a relief to know.

As far as medical science goes, there is no direct link between phones and cancer. Focus your energy instead on real lifestyle risks like high sugar, lack of exercise, and stress, which are much more harmful to our metabolic health.

No, you cannot. Major health organizations like the WHO have repeatedly stated that mobile phones use radiofrequency waves which do not cause cancer. Stop reading WhatsApp forwards and relax.

Haha, if phones caused cancer, our entire generation would be in trouble by now! Don't worry, the radiation won't hurt you, though your mom's flying flying chappal might if you stay on the phone past 2 AM!
