Can u die from hepatitis c?

A distant relative was recently diagnosed with Hepatitis C, and they seem very unwell. I'm worried about the severity of the illness. Can a person actually die from Hepatitis C complications?

I was reading about this recently and got really scared. From what I understand, untreated chronic cases can cause severe liver damage over many years, which can be fatal. Can anyone here tell me if there is a permanent cure available nowadays?

Bro, yes, it can damage your liver completely if ignored. My cousin got diagnosed during a routine blood test and had to undergo a strict antiviral course. It is fully curable now, so don't stress, just get tested and start the meds.

Yes, if you let it chill in your liver for decades without doing anything, it can get dangerous. But we aren't living in the 1800s anymore! Modern medical science has amazing treatments now, so just see a doc and get it sorted out.

Yes, chronic Hepatitis C is dangerous and can lead to liver failure. While I always look for home remedies like papaya leaf juice or amla for general liver health, they cannot cure this virus. You must take the proper English medicines prescribed by a specialist.

Yes, it can lead to fatal complications like cirrhosis, but the good news is that the new antiviral tablets work wonders. I finished my 12-week course last year and my viral load is now completely undetected. Get a hepatologist's opinion soon.

Beta, this is a serious liver infection and if left untreated for years, it can indeed be fatal. Alongside your main medical treatment, you can support your body with light, home-cooked meals and avoid all oily foods. Please consult a doctor immediately.
