Can u be put to sleep at the dentist?

I have a big dental procedure coming up and I'm really anxious about it. My friend mentioned that some dentists can put you to sleep completely for treatment. Is it common to be put to sleep at the dentist in India?

Ho na, actually they do use sedation or general anesthesia for major dental surgeries if patients are too scared. Just ask your dentist, they have safe options to make you sleep during the procedure.

I get so terrified of the dental drill sound, it literally gives me panic attacks. Has anyone else actually tried sleep dentistry in India, and does it feel completely safe?

Yes, dentists use conscious sedation or general anesthesia for highly anxious patients, so just discuss this with your clinic beforehand.

Honestly, I wish my dentist would put me to sleep just so I could catch up on my lost hours! Yes, they have IV sedation for complex cases, so you won't feel a thing.

We used to chew clove for tooth pain in our village, but for modern treatments, doctors can put you to sleep. Talk to your dentist clearly if you are too afraid of the pain, they will guide you.
