Can type 2 diabetes kill you?

I was recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, and I'm trying to understand the seriousness of it. My friend made a comment that really scared me. Can Type 2 diabetes actually be fatal if not managed properly?

Let's be direct: uncontrolled Type 2 diabetes leads to severe complications like heart attacks and kidney failure, which can absolutely be fatal. It won't kill you if you manage it, but negligence has high costs. Take your treatment seriously.

It can be dangerous if ignored, but please don't let that thought scare you. Millions of people live long, beautiful lives with diabetes by just eating healthy and staying active. It is entirely about how lovingly we care for our bodies daily.

Agar hum dhyan nahi denge toh ye bimari sharer ko andar se khokhla kar deti hai, babu. Par agar samay par dawai khayein aur thoda parhez rakhein, toh darna bilkul nahi hai. Sab bhagwan ke hath mein hai, dhyan rakho.

Completely agree with others. Untreated diabetes is highly dangerous, so please do not ignore your daily medicines and regular blood sugar monitoring.

Yes, chronic high blood sugar silently damages your blood vessels over several years, leading to critical issues like strokes or diabetic coma. However, staying compliant with your doctor's prescriptions and routine checkups practically eliminates this risk.
