Can type 2 diabetes go away?

I just got my diagnosis for Type 2 diabetes, and it's quite a shock. My relatives told me that if I control my diet and exercise, it might 'go away'. Is it true that Type 2 diabetes can actually go away, or is it a lifelong condition?

Having both PCOS and high blood sugar has taught me that these conditions don't fully 'go away' forever. We can manage them beautifully and reach normal levels, but we have to be gentle with our bodies and keep up the good habits.

It won't disappear permanently, but you can definitely put it into remission. Consistent weight training and a low-carb diet help reduce the fat in your liver and pancreas, allowing them to function normally again. Focus on building clean habits.

Let me put it simply: diabetes doesn't have a magic 'cure', but it can go into long-term remission. If you manage your weight and keep a healthy lifestyle, your sugar levels will stay normal, and you can lead a completely healthy life.

My doctor just confirmed my diabetes is in remission, and I have been medicine-free for six months! It takes solid discipline with food and exercise, but you can bring your HbA1c to normal. Don't lose hope, it is doable.

It doesn't pack its bags and leave permanently, unfortunately! It's like that annoying relative who stays quiet only if you feed them healthy food. Keep your diet clean, and your sugar levels won't disturb you at all.

Fully disappear toh nahi hota, haan na. It is a lifetime commitment. But if we do regular walking and skip sweet items, it stays completely quiet and we don't feel any symptoms. Bas thoda control rakhna padega.
