Can type 1 diabetes happen at any age?

I always thought Type 1 diabetes only affects children or young people. But my uncle, who is in his 40s, was just diagnosed with it. Is it true that Type 1 can develop at any age, even in adults?

Yes, it absolutely can. While it is mostly caught in kids, adults can get diagnosed with type 1 too. Don't worry or stress too much, just make sure to get the proper antibody tests done if you have any doubts.

Haan, bilkul ho sakta hai! Log sochte hain ki yeh bas bacchon ko hota hai, par aisa nahi hai. Mere ek friend ko 35 ki age mein detect hua tha. Doctors se checkup karana is the best option, halke mein mat lo.

Type 1 is an autoimmune issue, so age doesn't really stop it. Diet can help manage things later, but food alone cannot prevent or cure it at any stage. You need to consult an expert endocrinologist for the right guidance.

Yes, type 1 diabetes can develop in adults, often referred to as LADA when diagnosed later in life. It's often misdiagnosed as type 2 initially. It's critical to get a proper clinical evaluation to start the correct treatment plan.

Dekho, disease kisi ki age dekh kar nahi aati. Type 1 bade logon ko bhi ho sakta hai. Internet pe dhoondhne se accha hai seedha blood test karao aur achhe doctor se milo.
