Fasting in type 1 can be very risky actually. My cousin has this and her doctor strictly said no to long fasting because sugar drops instantly, ho na. You should definitely check with your specialist first before keeping any upvaas.
Honestly, skipping meals is super tricky for type 1. Even a light walk can drop your sugar levels fast if you are fasting. If your doctor allows some basic fasting, keep some glucose tablets handy and stick to very light strolling only.
In our family, elders always say fasting cleanses the body, but for type 1 diabetes, my uncle's endocrinologist gave strict warnings. Medical advice is first priority here. Please talk to your doctor and don't take any chances with your insulin dosage.
It can be really tough wanting to fast but having to worry about health. Please take care of yourself first. It is always safer to consult your doctor before making any changes to your food timings.

I totally get how frustrating it is when you want to join family fasts but can't. With type 1, managing insulin and fasts together is very complicated. Better to sit down with your doc and plan a safe routine if at all possible.
