Can tylenol cause stomach pain?

Kal se mujhe thoda bukhar aur body pain tha, toh Tylenol liya. Lekin ab pet mein bhi dard ho raha hai. Pehle kabhi aise nahi hua. Kya Tylenol se stomach pain ho sakta hai kya?

Actually, I took Tylenol on an empty stomach yesterday for a mild headache, and now my stomach is cramping really badly. Has anyone else felt the same after taking it? I am getting a bit worried now.

I was just reading up on this because my brother complained of acidity after taking it. It seems Tylenol is much safer for the stomach than other painkillers, but everyone's body reacts differently. Maybe taking it with a glass of milk helps.

Unlike NSAIDs like ibuprofen, Tylenol is generally gentler on the stomach lining and rarely causes irritation. However, my gastroenterologist mentioned that taking it on a completely empty stomach can occasionally cause mild discomfort or nausea in sensitive individuals. Always try to have a light meal first.

Please be very careful. I once ignored stomach discomfort thinking it was just generic gas, but it turned out to be severe gastritis worsened by regular medication. If the pain is sharp or doesn't go away, please see a doctor immediately.

If you are experiencing persistent stomach pain after taking any medicine, don't ignore it. I always consult the specialists at Max Hospital for these issues. Please visit a doctor to clearly rule out any acidity or ulcer issues.

Don't worry too much, dear. Sip some warm water or have a little curd to soothe your stomach. If the pain continues, just check in with your family doctor.
