Can tylenol cause back pain?

I regularly take Tylenol for my chronic knee pain, almost every other day. But for the past few months, I've also developed persistent back pain that wasn't there before. I'm wondering if there's any connection between taking Tylenol and experiencing back pain.

Tylenol is actually a pain reliever, so it shouldn't cause back pain. If you are taking it and still feeling back pain, it is likely that the medicine isn't strong enough or the pain is coming from something else like muscle strain. Better to get it checked by a doc.

Same here, Tylenol never caused me back pain. It is usually just bad posture or muscle pull, so try using a hot water bag.

Please don't listen to random people on the internet saying any pill causes or cures back pain. Back pain can happen for a hundred reasons, from posture to disc issues. Go see a proper doctor or a physiotherapist for a correct diagnosis.

Honestly, my back hurts just from waking up these days, Tylenol or no Tylenol! I doubt the medicine is causing it, you probably just need a better mattress or a solid 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep like me.

Stay positive, our bodies sometimes react strangely when we are stressed. Tylenol is generally gentle, but if your back is hurting, take some deep breaths, rest well, and let a doctor guide you. Take care of yourself.

It is highly unusual for Tylenol to cause back pain because it is formulated to reduce pain. If you are experiencing new or worsening back pain, please consult a doctor. Sometimes, kidney issues can mimic back pain, so it's always best to be sure.

Don't worry, Tylenol is meant to cure pain, not cause it. If your back is hurting, you might have slept in a wrong posture or lifted something heavy. Rest well tonight, and if the pain doesn't go away in a couple of days, we can get it checked.

Tylenol itself won't cause pain, but relying on medicine constantly isn't good either. Gentle stretching and daily Balasana (Child's Pose) have helped me manage my back stiffness naturally. Try to move your body gently rather than just taking pills.

I know how frustrating it is when you take a medicine to feel better, but your body starts hurting somewhere else instead. It makes you feel so hopeless and scared. Hang in there, and definitely talk to your doctor to find out what is actually causing this.

Tylenol shouldn't cause back pain, but inflammation in the body can make any ache worse. I found that eating anti-inflammatory foods like ginger and turmeric helped ease my back stiffness naturally. If the pain persists, please visit a doctor.

I track my symptoms on my health app, and Tylenol never showed any correlation with back pain for me. Usually, back aches are due to high sedentary hours. Check your step count and posture today, that might be the real culprit!

Actually, I started getting a strange ache in my lower back after taking Tylenol for a headache yesterday. Could it be some kind of side effect or allergic reaction? Pls let me know if anyone else has faced this.

I also had bad back pain last month and was taking Tylenol, but it didn't help much. Actually, putting a warm heating pad on the back and sleeping on a firm mattress worked much better for me. Try some simple hot water fermentation first.

Yaar, Tylenol is a painkiller, it won't give you back pain. If your back is hurting, you probably sat on your office chair for too long or did some heavy lifting. Stop popping pills randomly and go get a proper massage or see a doc.

No way yaar, Tylenol to pain thik karne ke liye hota hai. Actually, if your back is still hurting after taking it, maybe the dose is too low or your pain needs a proper muscle relaxant. Better to ask a doc instead of guessing.
