Can trauma cause cancer?

My cousin recently got diagnosed with cancer, and she's been through a lot of personal trauma in her life. This made me wonder if there's a link. Can a person's past trauma somehow lead to cancer?

Please do not believe any random online claims saying physical injuries or emotional trauma directly cause cancer. There is no scientific evidence supporting this. Always verify such serious health queries with a qualified oncologist instead of searching on forums.

Nahi babu, chot lagne se ya dukh hone se cancer nahi hota hai. Dil chota mat karo. Bas apna dhyan rakho aur achha khana khao. Agar sharir me koi gath hai toh doctor ko dikha lo, darna nahi.

Physical trauma like a bump or fall does not cause cancer. However, high emotional stress can affect your overall immunity. I learned this while managing my thyroid issue; keeping up with regular doctor follow-ups and blood tests is the best way to stay safe.

Listen boss, clear answer is no. A physical injury or hit doesn't turn into cancer. Sometimes people only notice an existing lump after they get hurt there, which causes the confusion. Don't stress unnecessarily, but go see a doctor if something feels wrong.

I know how terrifying it is to worry about this, especially if you have recently gone through a bad accident or major life stress. It's completely valid to feel anxious, but please rest assured that trauma itself does not trigger cancer. Take deep breaths.

While trauma itself doesn't cause cancer, ignoring a persistent lump or pain after an injury is a big mistake. I once ignored a growing swelling thinking it was just a sports injury and regretted it later when it got worse. Please get any lasting symptoms checked by a doctor.

Even though medical science says there is no link between trauma and cancer, it is always safer to get any unusual pain or swelling checked. Don't assume it is just minor injury pain. A quick visit to a specialist will give you peace of mind.

I have been so stressed about this because I got a hard hit on my chest last month and now I keep worrying if it can turn into something bad. Has anyone else felt this kind of constant worry after a minor injury? It's keeping me up at night.

If you are worried about a specific swelling after an injury, don't rush for expensive cancer scans right away. Start with a basic physical consult with a general physician which costs very little. They will tell you if any actual test is needed.

Chill, don't stress too much! Getting hurt or going through a tough time emotionally does not cause cancer. The internet can show scary things, but medically there's no connection. Go grab some peace of mind and stop googling!

I had a bad fall last year and found a lump shortly after, which made me panic completely. After going through all the tests and recovering, my doctor clearly explained that the fall just brought the lump to my attention, it didn't cause it. You're going to be okay.
