Can transvaginal ultrasound detect ovarian cancer?

My gynecologist suggested a transvaginal ultrasound because of some persistent discomfort I've been having. I'm worried about ovarian cancer, and I wanted to know if this type of ultrasound can actually detect it.

While eating fresh and keeping the body active helps our overall health, severe issues need proper medical scans. A TVS scan is very useful for checking cysts and masses in the ovaries. Please don't ignore pelvic pain or bloating, go see a gynecologist.

Yes, a transvaginal ultrasound is one of the primary tools they use to check the ovaries. I always go to a reputed hospital for my annual checkups because their machines and radiologists are top-notch. Ask your doctor clearly if you need additional tumor marker tests too.

It can show the size and shape of the ovaries and if there are any unusual growths. Regular medical scans are necessary for such serious diagnoses. Along with your treatment, practicing gentle breathing exercises like pranayama can keep your mind calm during these stressful times.

My wife had to undergo this scan last year when she was facing some abdominal issues. It is a very effective test to detect abnormalities. Just like managing my blood pressure, keeping up with these timely doctor visits and a simple lifestyle makes a big difference.

I had a TVS scan done recently for my ovarian cysts and honestly, it sounds scarier than it actually is. It helps doctors see if a cyst looks simple or suspicious. If you are worried, please talk to your gynaecologist, they will guide you through the next steps safely.

I totally get it, waiting for these kinds of medical answers can be so terrifying. The transvaginal ultrasound is very good at spotting abnormal masses, but only a doctor can tell you what those masses mean. Sending you lots of strength, please take care.

My wife had this done and she was so stressed that neither of us slept for three days straight. Yes, it is the main scan doctors use to check for any weird growths. Get the test done so you can finally get some sleep and stop overthinking everything.

Absolutely, TVS is the standard first-line scan for this. It gives a much clearer view of the ovaries than a regular abdominal scan. Don't waste time looking up symptoms online, book an appointment with a specialist and get it done.
