Can toothache cause pain in the neck?

My molar has been aching terribly for a few days, and now I'm also feeling a stiff pain in my neck, especially on the side of the toothache. Could this toothache be causing the pain in my neck?

Yes, it is possible for the pain to travel down, but you should be very careful. A toothache spreading to the neck could mean a deep infection, so please get it evaluated by a doctor or dentist immediately.

Yes, the nerves and muscles in the jaw and neck are connected, so tooth pain often radiates downwards.

Dekho, jaw and neck nerves are closely connected. When you have a bad toothache, you tend to stiffen your jaw which makes your neck muscles hurt too. Go to a dentist, get the tooth fixed, and the neck pain will go away.

Yes! The pain can definitely shoot down to your neck and shoulders. Don't worry, once the dentist resolves the tooth issue, your neck will feel much better! 😊

Haan beta, mere daant mein jab dard tha toh poori gardan jamm gayi thi aur bahut dard tha. Haldi aur namak ke pani se kulla karo, thoda aaram milega, aur phir doctor ko dikha lena.

The inflammation can cause the lymph nodes in your neck to swell up and hurt. You can apply a warm compress to the neck to soothe the muscles, but if the pain is severe or swelling increases, go to a clinic immediately.
