Can tooth pain cause sore throat?

I have a really bad toothache, and on top of that, my throat feels scratchy and sore, especially when I swallow. Could my tooth pain be connected to this sore throat?

Haan babuji, daant ka dard aur gale ki khichkhich dono ek sath ho jate hain kyunki infection niche gala tak jata hai. Aap thoda garam pani mein haldi dalkar kulla kariye, aaram milega. Aur kal hi bade doctor ko dikha lijiye.

My daughter had a severe wisdom tooth infection and developed a bad sore throat because of swollen lymph nodes under her jaw. It is very important to get a dentist to check the infection. If they have trouble swallowing or breathing, please take them to a doctor immediately.

A dental abscess can easily cause referred pain and swollen glands in your throat. Try to avoid strenuous physical activities while your body is fighting this infection. Get a proper checkup from a dentist to clear the infection safely.

My mother used to make us gargle with warm salt water whenever a bad tooth caused a sore throat. However, we always trust our family dentist for proper treatment, as curing the tooth infection is the only way to heal the throat.

Yes, tooth infection can cause lymph node swelling, resulting in a sore throat. You can drink warm ginger tea or chew on a clove for mild relief. But if you have severe swelling in your throat or high fever, please consult a doctor immediately.

I completely understand how painful and frustrating it is when you can't even swallow food because of a combined toothache and sore throat. It made me feel so miserable and weak. Please get to a dentist soon, as getting the tooth treated will make this awful throat pain go away.
