Can too much sex cause erectile dysfunction?

My wife and I have a healthy sex life, but lately, I've been struggling with erectile dysfunction more often. I heard someone jokingly say that too much sex can cause this problem. Is there any scientific basis to that, or is it just a myth?

Physically, regular sexual activity doesn't cause ED, but temporary fatigue can happen. If your doctor allows, adding regular cardio or brisk walking to your routine can significantly improve blood circulation and stamina.

It is probably just physical exhaustion, just like how you feel like sleeping after a massive, heavy meal of biryani. Give your body some rest and eat some good nutritious food to regain your energy.

Physical fatigue and mental stress can sometimes cause performance issues in young men. Please tell your partner to rest well, eat healthy home-cooked meals, and not worry too much about it.

Bro, your machine just needs some rest, it is not a petrol pump that runs 24/7! Take a break for a couple of days and you will be completely back to normal, don't worry.

Don't stress about this at all. Frequent activity can cause temporary fatigue or a refractory period, which is completely natural. Just give it some time, rest well, and if it still persists, consult a doctor without any hesitation.
