Can tirzepatide cause joint pain?

Since starting tirzepatide for my diabetes, I've noticed increasing joint pain, especially in my knees and hands. My cousin said her new medication also caused joint issues. Could this medication be causing my joint pain?

Yes, some people do report mild body and joint aches when they start. It usually goes away in a few days but keep your doctor informed.

I had a really tough time with severe muscle and joint pain when my dose was increased, and I had to stop and consult my specialist. Please do not ignore persistent joint pain as it could be an inflammatory response. Get in touch with your prescribing doctor immediately to evaluate this.

Please don't go trying random home remedies or taking pain balms from online suggestions. Joint pain can have many different causes, and only your doctor can tell if it is linked to tirzepatide or something else. Get a proper medical opinion instead of guessing.

Bro, even my cousin was complaining about weird knee and back pain after starting his dose. He thought it was gym soreness at first but turns out it was a mild side effect. Just chill, drink electrolytes, and if it hurts too much, definitely tell your doc.

Haan na, starting these new treatments is so hard on the body sometimes. Even I felt a bit of heaviness in my knees when my weight started dropping rapidly. Drink plenty of water and thoda rest karo, it should get better soon.
