Can thyroid nodules cause mucus in throat?

I was recently diagnosed with thyroid nodules, and I've also been feeling a persistent tickle and a lot of mucus in my throat. I keep trying to clear it. Could these nodules be causing this constant feeling of mucus in my throat?

I was reading up on this because my aunt has nodules. Sometimes large nodules can feel like something is stuck in your throat, which makes you cough or feel like there is constant mucus. Better to get it checked by a doc to be sure.

I have thyroid nodules myself. While they don't directly produce mucus, they can press against your windpipe and cause a swallowing sensation or tickle that feels like phlegm. Please get an ultrasound and regular follow-ups with your ENT doctor.

Yes, larger thyroid nodules can cause a throat-clearing sensation that feels like mucus. Please consult an ENT specialist.

I can only speak from my own experience with thyroid nodules. I often felt a strange throat irritation and cleared my throat constantly, which felt like mucus, but my doctor told me it was just pressure from the nodule. Definitely consult your physician.

Oh, that must be so annoying to deal with! Sometimes a nodule can cause mild swallowing difficulties or throat irritation, making you feel like clearing your throat often. A quick visit to a specialist will clarify what's causing it, so don't worry.
