Can thyroid make you tired?

For months now, I've been feeling extremely exhausted, no matter how much I sleep. My mother has thyroid, and she often complains of fatigue. I'm wondering if my thyroid could be making me so tired all the time.

Yes, extreme fatigue is actually the most common symptom of thyroid issues. Get your TSH checked soon.

Oh god, yes! Thyroid fatigue is so real, you literally feel like a zombie some days. But don't stress too much about it, just make sure you are taking your pills on time and get some extra sleep when you need it.

It is completely natural to feel exhausted when your thyroid is acting up; your metabolism is basically running on low battery. Take a break, don't push yourself too hard at work, and let the doctor adjust your medicine dose.

I used to panic thinking I had some major illness because I couldn't even climb stairs without feeling completely wiped out. But my doctor assured me it's just the thyroid. Once my TSH came under control, my energy returned.

Actually, yes yaar. I used to feel super tired even after sleeping for 9 hours straight. It was only after my thyroid report came out bad that I realized why my energy was so low.
