Can thyroid issues cause stomach issues?

Since last few months, my digestion has been really off, aur I'm also dealing with thyroid issues. My sister said there might be a connection between the two. Is this common, or should I be looking at other causes for my stomach problems?

Honestly, yes. When my thyroid levels were off, my digestion became super sluggish. Along with the meds, daily 30-minute walks really helped activate my gut, but do ask your doctor first if you can start light workouts.

Absolutely, thyroid directly affects your metabolism so stomach bloating or constipation is very common. Just like I do for my blood pressure, keeping a check on your daily routine, eating fiber, and getting regular blood tests is key here.

I was actually reading about this yesterday because my sister is facing the same thing. Apparently, thyroid hormones control how fast food moves through your digestive tract, so changes can cause both constipation and loose stools. It's crazy how it's all linked.

Yes, our body systems are all connected, and a thyroid imbalance can definitely disrupt your stomach peace. Keep your mind calm, drink warm water, and trust that with regular care and medicine, your body will heal itself.

Oh, totally! Sluggish thyroid means a super lazy stomach too 😴. I used to feel so heavy all the time, but getting the dose adjusted by my doctor made it so much better! Sending you good vibes ✨

Actually yes yaar, thyroid issues can totally ruin your digestion. I used to get so bloated after basic ghar ka khana. Definitely get your levels checked by a doc, self-treatment se kuch nahi hoga.

Yes, it does. Between long office hours and thyroid issues, my stomach was a mess last year. Don't waste time trying random diets; just book an appointment with your endocrinologist and get your TSH levels checked first.
