Can thyroid cause low blood pressure?

I've been feeling quite dizzy and faint sometimes, and my blood pressure readings are often on the lower side. I was told that thyroid can affect blood pressure. Can low blood pressure actually be a symptom of a thyroid issue?

Yes, an underactive thyroid can sometimes make your blood pressure run a bit low. Don't worry too much, just rest well and make sure to consult your doctor.

Actually, hypothyroidism can slow down your heart rate and cause your blood pressure to drop. If you are feeling dizzy or weak along with this, it's best to get your thyroid profile test done. Let your doctor know the numbers so they can adjust your thyroid tablets.

My doctor told me low thyroid function can lead to lower BP. Along with keeping up with my medication, I make sure to drink enough water and coconut water, and take small healthy meals throughout the day. Please do consult your doctor before changing your diet too much.

Oh god, I've been feeling so dizzy lately and my BP machine always shows low readings. Is anyone else also getting this with their thyroid? It is honestly so scary. I'm going to book an appointment with my specialist this week.

Between my low BP and thyroid fatigue, I feel like a walking zombie half the time. Yes, it definitely causes low BP and makes you want to sleep for a week. Honestly, check with your doc, maybe they need to tweak your dose so you get some energy back.
