Can the flu cause chest pain?

I've been recovering from a bad flu for about a week, but I've started feeling some chest pain, especially when I cough deeply. It's making me a bit anxious. Is it possible for the flu to cause chest pain, or should I be more concerned?

Honestly, intense coughing during flu can strain your chest muscles, which causes that soreness. But listen, chest pain is a big deal. If it feels like pressure, squeezing, or you're struggling to breathe, don't wait for internet advice—go to the ER immediately.

Keep your mind calm and take deep, slow breaths. Sometimes the heavy coughing strains our physical body, leading to mild pain. But please, if the discomfort is sharp or making you feel uneasy, listen to your body and visit a doctor. Sending healing thoughts your way.

Oh, mere saath bhi aisa hua tha last winter! It felt like a sharp pain whenever I coughed or sneezed, and I was so scared. It turned out to be muscle pull because of continuous coughing, but definitely get a doc to listen to your chest just to be safe.

At this age, I have seen many seasons of flu. Yes, a bad cough can make the rib cage very sore, which feels like chest pain. However, we should never ignore chest symptoms, especially if there is sweating or left-arm numbness. Go to a hospital if it feels heavy.

Coughing relentlessly during flu can definitely cause muscular chest pain. But because chest pain can be a major red flag, it is not worth self-diagnosing. Take an hour out of your busy schedule, book a quick doctor's consult, and clear any doubts instantly.

Haan ji, jab bhayankar khansi aati hai toh chhati mein dard hone lagta hai. Par agar aapko ghuthan lag rahi ho ya saans lene mein bhari takleef ho, toh ghar pe mat baithiye. Turant pas ke doctor babu ko dikha lijiye.

Please, mere bhai, isko halke mein mat lo. Ek baar mujhe laga ki flu ka normal chest pain hai aur main aaram karta raha, baad mein doctor ne kaha lung infection badh gaya tha. Chest pain dangerous ho sakta hai, bina wait kiye hospital jaakar check karwao.
