Can tb skin test make you sick?

My company is doing these routine health check-ups and they recommended a TB skin test. My friend got it last year and felt quite unwell afterwards, like she had a fever. Just wondering if this is normal or if it can actually make you feel sick.

Skin test se aam taur par koi bimar nahi hota, bas jahan injection laga hai wahan thodi khujli ya laali ho sakti hai. Thodi barf laga sakte hain par bina doctor se pooche koi dawai mat lagayein. Agar fever ya koi aur takleef ho, toh turant doctor ko dikhayein.

I totally get it, getting any test done can feel very scary and stressful. A TB skin test doesn't actually contain live bacteria, so it cannot make you sick or give you TB. A little swelling at the spot is completely normal, so please try not to worry.

Bro, I got this test done for my college admission last year. It doesn't make you sick at all. It's just a tiny prick on your arm and then you go back after two days to show them. Zero side effects, just don't scratch the spot.

The skin test is quite safe and won't make you sick. As someone managing diabetes, I just make sure my blood sugar is stable before any test so my body responds normally. Just follow your usual healthy routine and don't panic.

No, it doesn't cause illness. I have high BP and get routinely tested for various things, and these basic diagnostic tests are very safe. Just make sure you are resting well and keeping your lifestyle clean. Always get the results verified by a physician.

Don't delay the test thinking it will make you sick. I was scared of getting checked and let my symptoms drag on, which was a huge mistake. The skin test is extremely safe and crucial for early diagnosis, so please go ahead with it.

Not at all, it's a super quick test! I was worried too, but it didn't affect me. I actually treated myself to some yummy momos right after to cheer myself up. Just keep the test area dry and enjoy your day.
