Can't straighten elbow without pain?

I noticed a few days ago that I can't fully straighten my elbow without a sharp pain. It's not like I had a major injury, but it's really stiff and hurts when I extend my arm completely. What could be the issue here?

Before you go for an expensive MRI which can cost 6,000 rupees, consult a government hospital ortho doctor. They will usually start with a basic X-ray costing just 150-200 rupees to check for bone issues. It is much more practical and saves a lot of money upfront.

Please do not stress yourself too much, keep your mind calm and positive as the body heals better with peace. Try gently resting your hand on a soft pillow and don't force it to stretch. Take care, and let the doctor guide your recovery path.

I have joint inflammation issues sometimes linked with hormonal flare-ups, so I understand how frustrating physical pain is. It is best not to guess the cause or stretch it forcefully. Do consult a general physician or an orthopedist to get it diagnosed properly.

I tried warm mustard oil massage and turmeric paste for a similar elbow stiffness last year. It helps with minor muscle pulls, but if you actually cannot straighten it at all, it could be a joint inflammation. Please see a physiotherapist instead of rubbing it too hard.

Haan na, elbow pain is so irritating, you can't even lift a glass of water properly. It could be tennis elbow or a simple ligament strain from lifting something wrong. Best to put some ice ice pack for now and let the joint rest completely.
