Can't stop vomiting hangover?

I had a really big party last night, and now I have a terrible hangover. The worst part is I can't stop vomiting. It's been hours, and nothing seems to settle my stomach. What can I do to feel better and stop this nausea?

I know how miserable this feels, your head is pounding and stomach is in knots. Try sucking on a small ice cube or sipping cold ginger ale very slowly. Don't force yourself to drink huge glasses of water all at once, as that will just make you throw up again.

Please be very careful with this. I once kept vomiting after a heavy night of drinking and ended up tearing my esophagus, which caused me to spit blood. If you cannot stop dry heaving, go to a clinic to get an anti-vomiting shot instead of waiting it out.

I used to panic so much when I couldn't stop vomiting the morning after, thinking I poisoned myself. But honestly, it is just your body's way of resetting after too much alcohol. Just rest in a dark room, sip ORS, and it will slowly pass by afternoon.

If you have work tomorrow, don't waste the whole day hoping it gets better. Go to a nearby clinic, get a quick IV drip with an antacid, and you will be back on your feet in two hours. It is much more practical than lying in bed miserable all day.

While a hangover is common, persistent vomiting can lead to severe electrolyte imbalance and dehydration. The safest course of action is to consult a healthcare professional. They can advise whether you need simple hydration or medical intervention to stop the vomiting.

If you have diabetes, vomiting after drinking is highly dangerous as it can mask signs of severe hypoglycemia. Please monitor your blood sugar levels immediately. Avoid sweet recovery drinks and stick to plain water or salted lemonade while consulting your doctor.
