Can't sleep with snoring partner?

My husband's snoring has gotten so incredibly loud lately that I literally can't sleep a wink all night. I've tried everything, even earplugs don't seem to help anymore. I'm constantly tired and irritated because of this.

Just buy high-quality silicone earplugs or active noise-canceling earbuds. Honestly, don't waste time trying to tolerate it or nudging them all night. It saves your sleep and your relationship instantly.

Please ask your partner to get a health checkup, especially for high blood pressure and sleep apnea. Loud, continuous snoring is often a sign of blocked airways, which can be dangerous. My doctor had me do a sleep study for this exact reason.

My husband's ENT specialist told us that sleeping on the back makes snoring much worse because the tongue falls backward. We bought a special side-sleeping pillow and it reduced the noise by almost 60%. It is definitely worth looking into.

With kids waking up early, I couldn't afford to lose sleep over my husband's snoring. We started using a white noise machine in our room and got him nasal strips to open his airways. It has made our nights much more peaceful.

I feel so guilty for getting irritated with my partner's snoring, but the lack of sleep is making me so anxious and tired at work. Does anyone else feel terrible about wanting to sleep in a separate room just to get some rest?

If my partner's snoring wakes me up, I find that being physically tired from my daily evening workouts helps me fall back asleep faster. Also, encouraging your partner to join you for regular walks can help with weight management, which often reduces snoring naturally.

My sleep tracker app showed my deep sleep was constantly interrupted by environmental noise, which was actually my partner's snoring. We started using a snore-tracking app on his phone to see what triggers it, and it turned out to be late-night heavy meals.

Don't lose your peace over this. Talk to your partner gently about seeing a doctor, because it is as much about their health as your sleep. In the meantime, try sleeping a bit earlier than them so you are already in a deep sleep when they start.

We tried all the internet hacks, but the only realistic solution was sleep division on rough nights. If he starts snoring heavily, he shifts to the guest bedroom. There is no shame in sleeping separately for your health.

Lack of deep sleep due to my partner's snoring was messing up my fasting insulin levels. I had to urge him to see a doctor. It turned out he needed to cut down on late-night sugars and carbs, which helped reduce his throat inflammation and snoring.
