Can't sleep with a stuffy nose?

Every night, my nose gets completely blocked, and I can't breathe properly, making it super hard to sleep. It feels like this happens every time the weather changes. What helps when your nose is so stuffy, especially at night?

You don't need to buy expensive nasal strips or vaporizers immediately. Just do old-fashioned steam inhalation with a bowl of hot water and a towel over your head before bed. It costs nothing and clears your nose instantly so you can sleep.

My chronic sinus issues got worse with my thyroid imbalance, causing dry nasal passages at night. I had to consult my doctor to balance my medication and get a safe saline spray. Definitely keep up with your regular checkups to avoid these complications.

Bro, just apply some Nilgiri (eucalyptus) oil or Vicks on your chest and pillow. It opens up your breath instantly. Also, try sleeping on your side instead of your back, it helps a lot.

I always use a saline nasal drop before hitting the bed whenever I have a cold. It is just salt water, so it feels much safer to me than regular nasal sprays which can be habit-forming. It keeps my nasal passages clear for a few hours.

Propping your head up with an extra pillow is the most effective way to drain the sinuses naturally while sleeping. If you lie flat, the fluid pools and blocks your nose. Simple gravity works wonders here.

Invest in a good warm-mist humidifier for your bedroom, especially if you sleep with the AC on. The dry air ruins your nasal lining and blocks it up completely. It is a one-time purchase that completely changes your sleep quality.

Drinking a cup of hot black tea with some basil (tulsi) and ginger right before bed works beautifully. The warmth relaxes the nasal passages and the steam clears the block. I hope you get some peaceful sleep tonight.
