I literally just recovered from a severe neck spasm that kept me awake for three nights. I realized my old fluffy pillow was the main culprit, so I switched to a thin, supportive cervical pillow. It took two days, but the pain has almost gone and I can sleep normally now.

Hey, neck pain is really painful, so don't try to force yourself into uncomfortable sleeping positions. Try applying a warm gel pack or a simple heating pad for ten minutes to relax the muscles. If it still hurts, just rest in a comfortable reclining chair tonight instead of the bed.

Actually, sleeping on your stomach makes neck pain way worse, yaar. Try to sleep on your side or back, and make sure your neck is aligned with your spine. Maybe apply some pain relief spray before you sleep.

I ignored a minor neck pain for weeks thinking it was just a bad posture issue, and it turned into a severe cervical spondylosis that took months of physiotherapy to fix. Please do not ignore this pain if it is keeping you awake. Get a doctor's checkup done immediately.

If the pain is acute, applying an ice pack for the first 24 hours helps reduce inflammation, followed by warm fermentation. You can also use a mild over-the-counter pain relief gel. If the pain radiates down your arm or causes numbness, please consult an orthopedist immediately.

It is so difficult to find a comfortable position when your neck is hurting. Try to keep a small rolled-up towel under your neck for light support, and I hope you get some peaceful rest tonight.
