Can't sleep due to stress and anxiety?

Life mein bahut stress chal raha hai, aur uski wajah se mujhe bilkul neend nahi aati. Anxiety bhi itni badh gayi hai ki raat bhar bas sochti rehti hoon. Kaise manage karoon?

Whenever my mind is racing with anxiety, I go for a brisk evening walk to sweat it out. If your doctor allows regular exercise, try running or cycling a few hours before bedtime. It really helps release all that physical tension so your body naturally craves rest.

Stress and poor sleep can directly impact your blood pressure, which is exactly what happened to me last year. I had to strictly change my lifestyle, stop checking work emails after 8 PM, and do regular checkups with my physician. Please monitor your health closely if this anxiety is an everyday thing.

Listen, don't stress too much about not sleeping, because worrying about sleep actually keeps you more awake! Keep your phone in another room and just lie down comfortably with some light music. We all go through these phases, you are going to be completely fine, buddy.

Same here, the quiet hours of the night make the anxiety so much louder. I find that writing down my thoughts on a notepad before lying down helps clear my head slightly.

Beta, at my age, I have realized that ninety percent of the things we worry about at 2 AM never actually happen. Life has its own way of sorting things out, so don't ruin your health over tomorrow's problems. Take a deep breath, drink a glass of water, and leave the rest to God.

Honestly, don't go trying random sleeping pills or herbal supplements that people suggest online for anxiety. Sleep issues can have many underlying causes, so it is always best to consult a qualified doctor or a therapist. Get a professional opinion instead of experimenting with your health.

Eating a very heavy, spicy dinner late at night can actually trigger acidity which makes anxiety and restlessness way worse. I prefer having a light, easily digestible vegetarian meal by 7:30 PM, maybe with some warm turmeric milk later if it suits your stomach. What we put in our body definitely affects how peacefully we sleep.

I was actually reading up on this yesterday because my sleep cycle is completely broken due to exam stress. It seems like even minor screen light can trick our brain into staying awake when we are already anxious. Has anyone here actually tried those blue-light glasses or did meditation really work for you?
