Can't get warm but no fever?

Lately, I'm feeling cold all the time, even when everyone else is comfortable. I keep layering on clothes, but I just can't get warm, yet I don't have a fever. What could be causing this?

I totally get how uncomfortable that is. Feeling constantly cold even under blankets when others are warm is so frustrating. Please make sure you are resting well and maybe drink some warm ginger water to help your body feel cozier.

Actually, this used to happen to me during monsoon, yaar. I would shiver even without any fever. I realized it was just low iron levels making me feel so weak, so definitely get a basic blood test done.

Please check your thyroid levels once. I used to feel shivering cold in normal weather and later found out my TSH was very high. Regular blood tests and seeing your doctor is the best way to manage this.

This could be due to a slow metabolism, low blood pressure, or anemia. Keep yourself hydrated, wear warm layers, and see if it persists. If this cold feeling stays for more than a few days, a quick visit to your family physician is highly recommended.

Bro, I get this when I pull all-nighters for exams and my body is just completely exhausted. Try to get a solid 8 hours of sleep and eat a hot meal. Your body is probably just running on empty right now.

Beta, try drinking warm milk with a pinch of turmeric and ginger at night. Sometimes the body gets cold from inside due to weakness. If it doesn't get better in two days, please visit the doctor.
