Can't get rid of dandruff?

My scalp is constantly itchy and flaky, and no matter what anti-dandruff shampoo I use, it just doesn't go away. I've tried so many remedies, but I just can't get rid of my dandruff. Any suggestions?

I struggled with stubborn dandruff for almost a year. For me, switching to a dermatologist-recommended ketoconazole shampoo twice a week worked wonders, but what works for one scalp might not work for another.

Bro, same here! I was so embarrassed wearing black t-shirts to college. Honestly, just don't oil your hair too much because it makes the fungus grow more, and use a good anti-dandruff shampoo instead.

I get so anxious when my dandruff flares up because I worry it's a sign of some fungal infection or hormonal mess. Make sure you don't scratch too hard or you might get a scalp infection. Maybe consult a skin doctor just to be completely safe?

I totally feel your pain, dandruff used to ruin my confidence during meetings and outings. It feels like everyone is just staring at your shoulders, which is so exhausting. Just hang in there, a dermatologist can help find the right clinical solution for you.

Sometimes our skin reflects our inner stress and chaotic thoughts. Try to keep your mind calm, drink lots of water, and keep your scalp clean. I hope you find relief soon, take care of yourself.

My teenage son had severe dandruff that was making his scalp bleed from scratching. We tried all home remedies but finally a skin specialist prescribed a proper scalp lotion that cleared it up in three weeks. Please don't let it worsen, see a doc.
