Can stress give you a heart attack?

My doctor recently warned me about my rising blood pressure due to my high-pressure job. I often feel my heart racing when I'm stressed. Is it true that severe stress can directly lead to a heart attack?

Extreme sudden shock or tension can definitely put a lot of pressure on your heart. We must try to keep our lifestyle simple—limit tea, walk 30 minutes daily, and don't take every small family argument to heart. Mental peace is very cheap but holds the highest value.

My fitness tracker showed my resting heart rate spiking to 110 bpm during a high-stress meeting. Over time, this constant cardiac load can contribute to heart issues. Tracking your heart rate variability (HRV) can be a great way to monitor your physical stress levels.

My husband faced severe chest tightening due to work stress, and the cardiologist warned us that chronic stress causes plaque in the arteries to rupture. We immediately shifted him to a lighter schedule and started daily evening walks. Taking timely steps can literally save a life.

Our hearts are so delicate, we really must protect them from all the daily negativity! ❤️ Try to listen to light music, spend time with pets, and don't take office tension home. A happy heart is a healthy heart!

Stress causes a sudden rise in blood pressure and heart rate, which can trigger an event in vulnerable people. If you are in a high-pressure job, get an annual cardiac screening. It takes just two hours but gives complete peace of mind.

At 50, even a sudden phone call from my boss feels like it could stop my heart! But seriously, stress is a major silent enemy of the heart. We need to learn to say 'jaane do' (let it be) to half of our daily worries.
