Can stress cause piles to bleed?

I've had piles for a while, but lately, they've started bleeding, especially during a very stressful family period. My neighbour said stress can make them worse. Can stress cause piles to bleed?

Stress directly impacts your blood pressure and gut health, which can aggravate bleeding piles. I have to manage my BP and stress daily to avoid these flare-ups. Please get your BP checked and consult a doctor for a proper routine.

Bleeding is scary but don't panic. Government hospitals and local clinics have very cheap consultation fees and basic tests are affordable. Plan a visit to a general surgeon soon so you don't end up spending heavily on emergency complications later.

Listen, seeing blood can be very alarming but please don't let it panic you further because that will only increase your stress. It is a very common issue. Just book a quick doctor's appointment tomorrow and let them guide you, okay? Take care.

Oh, I did not know stress could do this. I have been feeling a lot of pressure lately too. Is bleeding always a sign of piles, or should I be worried about something else if it happens?

I had a similar scare last year during my finals. Stress leads to constipation, which makes us strain and causes bleeding. Drink lots of coconut water, avoid spicy food completely, and definitely see a doc to get a soothing cream.
