Whenever I have a particularly stressful week at work, I notice that I get these debilitating migraine headaches. I used to think it was just a coincidence. Can stress actually cause migraine headaches?

I visited a neurologist at Fortis for my severe headaches, and he confirmed that stress is one of the most common triggers for migraines. I suggest going to a proper hospital and asking your doctor clearly about preventative treatment rather than self-medicating.

In my younger days, whenever there was a big family function or tension, I would get a terrible one-sided headache with nausea. Over the years, I realized that keeping a calm mind and resting in a dark room helps. Don't worry, it is very manageable once you learn your triggers.

I have tried everything from cold compresses to herbal ginger teas for my migraines. While these simple home remedies give temporary relief from stress-induced headaches, they aren't a permanent cure. You should consult a doctor to get the right medication for severe attacks.

Yes, stress is a massive trigger for migraine attacks. Try to rest in a quiet, dark room and consult a doctor.

Actually, yes yaar. Whenever I have crazy deadlines at work, my migraine flares up instantly and I can't even look at my laptop screen. You should definitely check with a doc and keep your stress levels down.
