Can stress cause lower abdominal pain?

For the past few months, I've been experiencing a persistent dull ache in my lower abdomen. My periods are regular, and I've been checked for other issues. Could my increased stress levels be causing this lower abdominal pain?

My daughter gets terrible lower belly aches every time her college exams approach because of IBS triggered by anxiety. We usually give her warm water bags and light curd rice, which helps ease the cramps. But please do see a doctor to rule out any other infection or appendicitis.

At my age, even a minor office argument feels like a knot in my lower stomach. Stress-induced bloating and gas are very real and can hurt quite badly. Try walking a bit and skipping the extra cups of chai, but go to a doctor if it persists.

Haan babu, jab mann me bahut chinta hoti hai toh pet me dard hone lagta hai. Thoda garm paani pijiye aur dimaag ko shant rakhiye. Agar dard badhta jaye toh turant daktar sahab ko dikha lena chahiye, laparwahi nahi karni hai.

I personally experience a lot of cramping in my lower belly whenever I go through a stressful week at work. For me, taking a warm bath and resting helps a lot. Everyone's body is different though, so check with a professional if you're worried.

My mother always says that tension in the mind blocks the stomach's energy, causing pain. She suggests drinking warm buttermilk with a pinch of hing. However, for lower abdominal pain, it is always safest to consult a lady doctor to ensure everything is fine.
